Ultrasound Fellowship

From Our Ultrasound Director

Welcome to the Department of Emergency Medicine at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. As you consider your options in pursuing a career as an Emergency Ultrasonographer, I urge you to take a close look at our program.

Part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, Crozer-Chester Medical Center is an ideal location for the developing ultrasonographer. Clinically, our fellows will be exposed to both critical medical, trauma, adult, and pediatric patients. You will be exposed to all the core and advanced POCUS applications with a particular focus on the skill of regional anesthesia. With our residency program, you will have the opportunity to develop as an educator both clinically and didactically. Our system is replete with multiple residency programs and our fellows will have many opportunities for interdisciplinary work, if desired. Our division has access to ultrasound machines from both Sonosite, Mindray, and Butterfly.

Our hospital system is located in the heart of Delaware County, a great place to live and work. We are also within easy commuting distance of downtown Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware. As a small division, you will find yourself in a supportive environment with individualized mentorship.

We are very proud of our program. Please explore our website, review our program in more detail, and apply to our program through the Society for Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship website. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Best wishes,
Maxwell Cooper, M.D.
