Annual Crozer EM Holiday Party
January 9, 2025
Match Day 2025 and so much more…
March 22, 2025Our Wednesday conferences are always exciting and full of cool things which we do together. But today was particularly special.
First of all, our beloved chief resident Dr. Megan Schlegelmilch is getting ready to become a mom. And that is everyone’s business in our Crozer EM family! So the residents and attendings set up a little baby shower party for Megan with cupcakes and sweet gifts for the baby. Babies are always welcome in our program and everybody is eagerly awaiting each and every one of them. Come, baby S., come! We want to meet you so much!!!!

You think that Megan just showed up for the conference to eat cupcakes and collect the gifts? No way! You don’t know our Crozer EM ladies! They have a will of steel. They will hold the whole planet on their shoulders if needed. Megan gave us a lecture on beta-blockers toxicity, as it is Tox theme day today. Megan, good luck with your upcoming Big Event!! We send all the good vibes to you and the baby.

Another awesome part of our today’s conference was the visit of our program’s alumni. Two of them came to lecture us on select Tox/EMS topics. Once you are part of a Crozer fam, you are always part of a Crozer fam! We love our alumni and are very proud of them!
Dr Dan Kallush is a class of 2024 who went to Cooper for the EMS fellowship. Today he was back to talk about Buprenorphine and what they do across Delaware river with it from EMS point of view. Dan, it was so great to see you!

And last, but not the least – another alumna Dr. Laura Roper came and talked to us about epilepsy from Tox standpoint, as Laura finished Toxicology fellowship after she graduated from our residency in 2020. She currently works for Tower Health. Laura, thank you for coming to visit us! So good to see you again!

All in all, as life goes on and things change, one thing remains constant. It is how much we love each other here at Crozer EM and cherish out time together.
