Yesterday we celebrated our Crozer EM graduates Class of 2023. The world is getting 6 top notch EM docs! Our graduates are incredibly competent, professional, kind, well-trained and love what they do. We are so proud of our awesome docs!

It’s a bittersweet day for all the faculty and residents: on one hand they are flying toward their dreams, finally being independent physicians. On the other hand, they take a chunk of our hearts, because we spent countless hours together taking care of our patients, getting to know each other, sharing high and low moments. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life!

The event took place in a cool place in Old City Philadelphia called Stratus Rooftop Lounge. Even rain could not spoil the mood of camaraderie, love, and a festive spirit of the event.

Dr. Melissa Yu is getting her Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship diploma. There would be her best friend and our 2nd US fellow Dr. Leslie Crosby by her side, but Leslie just had a baby and could not be here with us. Congratulations, Melissa and Leslie! So proud of you!

Dr. Ryan Yee came to our residency from Hawaii, and he going back home as a full-blown EM doc. Best of luck and Aloha!

Dr. Raghav Sahni is not leaving us completely. He is staying with us for his US fellowship. Congratulations and welcome!

Dr. Sheena Tadikonda is also going to stick around the area for another year, waiting for her fiance to finish his EM residency.

Dr. Craig Schaaf, our now senior resident, will be marrying lovely Sheena next month. Incredible, when you enter residency and exit with a spouse
