On 11/6, Crozer residents led a Splinting and suturing workshop with medical students from Drexel SOM's Emergency Medicine Interest Group. We had a great time practicing a variety of suturing techniques with plastic models and learning a variety of upper and lower extremity splints. We were lucky enough to pair up with the wilderness medicine group who had a lot of interesting advice for approaching MSK emergencies outside of the hospital with limited supplies. PGY1s Anabela Esteves and Dhruv Patel along with PGY2 Brandon Eilberg really enjoyed educating first and second year medical students interested in the field of emergency medicine and hope to inspire the next generation of ER physicians!
