Biggest non-EM accomplishment: Starting two sustainable non-profits.

If not EM: I would own a bakery where we teach yoga.
Random fact: I created Avocado toast long before it was a thing.

Brian DeBaun, MD

Med School: Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
Hobbies: Basketball, football (basically all sports in general), playing with my 2 dogs, grilling and hanging out in our backyard, going to comedy shows, playing board games with my stepson, traveling.
Favorite movies/TV: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Family Guy, Avatar: The Last Airbender (the TV show…we don’t speak of the movie), whale documentaries. .
Biggest non-EM accomplishment: 2nd place in 9th grade Tri-Valley Science and Engineering Fair (science rules!)
Favorite food: Pad Thai, The Cheesecake Factory, IKEA Breakfast
If not EM: Probably something sports-related and medicine adjacent, like a sports trainer.
Random fact: Every year for the last 7 years my wife and I have dined in at McDonald’s for Valentine’s Day.
